| Role: Data Product Owner Job Location : Chicago IL (Onsite) Rate: $60/hr Mandatory required skills Strong Data Background Job Description Strong data analysis skills (e.g., SQL, python, R) along with an understanding of technical patterns used to consume and process data at scale (e.g., graphQL, spark) Excellent problem solving and influencing skills Thrive at the intersection of data and business strategy - able to understand complex business intent and translate strategy into data requirements that promote consistent, reusable and interoperable data consumption Framework driven approach to problem solving with ability to simplify technical complexity and drive well-educated business decisions across stakeholders Exceptional cross-team collaboration; able to work across different functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to get the job done. Highly tuned emotional intelligence, good listener, and deep seated empathy for teams, partners, and direct reports Primary Responsibilities Drive the definition, design and operationalization of data products that maximize leverage for the business and serve the needs of your internal and external customers Own and prioritize the long-term (12-18mo) month roadmap for your product(s), working with a cross-functional stakeholder group balancing priorities based on impact and risk to drive winning customer outcomes.
