| Role: Python Django Engineer Location: NJ Duration: Contract Job Description: Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Django web applications. Apply scalable web design patterns and microservice principles. Understand Agile practices and the software development lifecycle. Review code, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with front-end teams. Manage databases, optimize schemas, and ensure smooth data storage operations. Integrate systems and APIs for a cohesive backend architecture. Test, debug, and optimize backend code for robustness and efficiency. Implement and ensure secure backend systems against vulnerabilities. Create and maintain technical specifications, user manuals, and API documentation. Stay current with backend trends, exploring new technologies and improvement strategies Must Have: 6+ Years Proven experience in web development using Python and Django. 3+ years of experience creating RESTful APIs with Django Rest Framework. 3+ year of experience in creating UI leveraging Djangos Built-in template engine. Strong experience in designing and developing applications using Object-oriented Design patterns and SOLID principles. Very good hands-on experience on Micro service architecture. Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX. Proven experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience with ORM (Object Relation Mapping) for interaction with Database. Strong Knowledge of MVT (Model View Template Architecture). Knowledge of Django's authentication system and how to implement user registration, login, and authorization. Understanding and using middleware for various purposes such as authentication, security, and custom request/response processing. Strong expertise on writing Unit Test cases to ensure the reliability of code. Awareness of common security vulnerabilities and best practices for securing Django applications. Familiarity with web servers like Apache, Nginx, and the process of deploying Django applications to production servers using CI/CD. Expertise and implementing experience on web security best practices. Strong expertise on REST API principles. Good to Have: Insurance domain knowledge. Cloud platform knowledge. Hands on experience working with react.js. Understanding of any other frameworks like flask, Fast APIs.
