| Direct client position Position: Sr. Business Technical Analyst Location: Texas (Remote) Duration:4 Months Agency: Health and Human Services Commission Client: State of Texas Candidate Must be local to Texas Job Description Years of Required Experience: 5 years of Required Effectively communicate with non-technical audience to understand business needs and explain complex systems and technical topics in clear and concise manner. 5 years of Required Strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users. 5 years of Required Strong systems analysis skills as needed. 5 years of Required Creates, edits, and maintains technical documentation for current and future applications e.g., technical reference manuals and production control manuals. 5 years of Required Works with stakeholders to understand their technology needs and issues in performing their day-to-day work. 5 years of Required Strong Database query languages (SQL, PL/SQL) experience. 5 years of Required Skilled documenting processes. 5 years of Required Strong skills assisting with unit testing. 5 years of Required Experience with CLASS, CLASSMate and/or Public and Provider and interfaces with the DFPS IMPACT application. Years of Preferred Experience: 4 years of Preferred Conducts work sessions with users and project team members to document requirements, develop use cases, and/or technology solutions. 2 years of Preferred Assists project team members with analysis and interpretation of user requirements. 2 years of Preferred Develops Use Case documentation. 2 years of Preferred Works with developers to interpret and provide clarification on Use Cases as needed. 2 years of Preferred Experience working on projects utilizing agile project management methodologies. 2 years of Preferred Experience with Health and Human services or Child Care Licensing 2 years of Preferred Knowledge of Jira Service Management. 2 years of Preferred Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and high-level system design methodologies and techniques (entity/relationship models, data/process flow diagrams); object-oriented programming and of programming client/server applications. 2 years of Preferred Knowledge of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK). 2 years of Preferred CBAP or similar Business Analyst certification.
