You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Generative AI initiatives, designing and building solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Optum AI team, internal business teams, software engineers, and product managers, to bring potential productivity and customer experience improvement ideas to life and deliver real-world impact. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy innovative Generative AI solutions aligned with business objectives. Select, adapt, and fine-tune Generative AI models for specific use cases. Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure Generative AI pipelines. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to define and prepare data for training and inference. Develop and document clear technical specifications and best practices. Evaluate and optimize Generative AI models for performance, fairness, and bias. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with Generative AI technologies. Contribute to building and maintaining a strong Generative AI knowledge base within the team. Mentor and guide junior engineers on Generative AI concepts and practices. Experience building production-grade AI systems. Bonus Points: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience working with specific applications relevant to our company's domain. Open-source contributions to Generative AI projects.
