The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in migrating data and processes from SAS to SSIS, ensuring a seamless transition and optimal performance. Responsibilities: 1. SAS to SSIS Migration: - Lead the migration efforts from SAS to SSIS, including data, ETL processes, and associated workflows. - Analyze existing SAS solutions and design efficient SSIS equivalents. 2. ETL Development: - Design, develop, and implement SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading. - Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process. 3. Data Mapping and Modeling: - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and create mapping specifications. - Design and implement data models to support the migration and integration processes. 4. Performance Optimization: - Optimize SSIS packages for performance and scalability. - Conduct performance tuning of SQL queries and transformations. 5.
