Ansible is a tool written in Python. Will integrate Ansible and start to automate low hanging fruit like looking at the subject of most tickets that come in and automate those. Should have knowledge of other automation ideas and tools. Job Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a DevNet Networking Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT networking with a focus on DevNet technologies. They should possess programming skills, particularly in Ansible, and be passionate about automating and optimizing network infrastructure. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain network automation scripts and tools using Ansible. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support network solutions. Utilize DevNet tools and platforms to streamline network operations and improve efficiency. Troubleshoot network issues and implement timely resolutions. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevNet networking. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT networking, with a focus on DevNet technologies. Proficiency in Ansible programming language; experience with Python is a plus. Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, etc.). Experience with DevOps practices and tools for automation and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well within a team. Preferred Qualifications: Cisco DevNet Associate or Professional certification. Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) principles and solutions.
