Location: Austin TX (Remote) Duration: 14 months Candidate Must Local to Texas Required Experience with 1 or more of the state of Texas government agencies This candidate will need to have some experience with product owner responsibility and WCAG 2.2 experience as well. Required Skills: Accessibility Compliance Specialist AND WCAG 2.2 AND Tableau Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity. Actual Years Experience Years Experience Needed Required/ Preferred Skills/Experience 5 Required Reviewing and auditing HTML webpages, PDFs, Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint documents for compliance with Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act, TAC 206 & 213, and WCAG 2.1 AA. 4 Required Developing operational requirements, guidelines, and recommendations to ensure IT organizational output is compliant with Section 508 requirements. 4 Required Experience testing software, electronic documents, and webpages for Section 508, TAC 206 & 213 and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance. 3 Required Experience providing advice to authors, content developers, and staff on how to ensure output remains compliant with Accessibility standards. 3 Required Experience communicating prioritized list of compliance issues and potential compliance risks as well as clear mitigation strategies to management. 3 Required Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Visio) and Adobe Acrobat. 4 Preferred B.A. or B.S. or higher in computer science, information technology, management information systems or related field. Equivalent years experience specifically in an accessibility role can substitute for college degree. 2 Preferred Knowledge of various programming languages and frameworks including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, JQuery, SQL, and Web Services. 2 Preferred Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau Softwares Tableau Desktop, or Microsoft Power BI. 1 Preferred Quality Management, Continuous Improvement, Manager of Quality or Organizational Excellence certifications are desirable.
