Position Title: Systems Engineer Location : Boston, MA ( Hybrid) Only calcal candidate please BASIC PURPOSE: The Systems Operations Engineer is primarily responsible for all aspects of administration, enhancement and problem resolution for the Enterprises Windows Server Operations in the Active Directory environment. The Systems Operations Engineer will focus on maintaining a highly available and secure environment through best practices, documentation, process improvement and continuous learning. Other responsibilities include identifying problems and errors, incident management, reporting, and project-based work. The successful candidate must be able to work in unsupervised situations, provide excellent customer service, be extremely detailed and highly motivated while working in a team-based environment. Provide support for a variety of technology areas, including Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, and VMware Administration and support for patch management, file/folder per missioning, SQL/windows clustering, SPN delegations, IIS. Provide support on the Server Operations Team Ticket Queue and manage cases in a timely manner Provide support to integration efforts in key areas, including NTFS permissions and management Collaborate with application owners on application deployment and configuration Understanding of security, compliance and change management controls Configuration, maintenance and automation of secure server operating systems and third-party application deployment Administration and upgrades relating to windows server technologies and Active Directory for multiple domains. Collaborate on performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning for servers and applications.
