| Role: Sr AWS Architect Location: Bridgewater NJ ( Remote) Duration: 12+ Months Interview: Video Job Description: 15 years of experience Cloud team is seeking an experienced AWS/GCP Architect with a specialization in cloud migration, including AWS to GCP and SharePoint to GCP migrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructures and services on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a focus on migrating services and applications between these cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities Design innovative cloud solutions on AWS and GCP, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. Expertise in migrating from AWS to GCP and SharePoint to GCP. Oversee AWS and GCP infrastructures, optimizing for cost efficiency and performance. Implement and manage security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies. Manage deployment and operations of applications on AWS and GCP. Develop comprehensive migration plans for AWS to GCP and SharePoint to GCP transitions. Execute migrations ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. Ensure cloud architectures adhere to security best practices and compliance standards. Implement robust security measures and best practices. Provide technical leadership in cloud strategy and architectural best practices for AWS and GCP. Serve as a consultant to internal teams on cloud-related initiatives. Monitor cloud environments post-migration for operational efficiency. Optimize systems for performance and cost-effectiveness following migration. Monitor and optimize cloud spending for efficient resource utilization. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Extensive experience as an AWS/GCP Architect, with a strong focus on cloud migrations. Deep understanding of AWS and GCP services, cloud design patterns, and cloud operations. Proven experience in architecting, deploying, and managing AWS and GCP environments. Expertise in cloud security, compliance, and risk management. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex migration projects. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Relevant AWS and/or GCP certifications are required.
