SAS will provide the expertise necessary to successfully support clients daily operational needs within a FEDRAMP approved secure Government Cloud tenant. Core support will consist of developing and implementing recommended solutions; manage subscriptions and resources; implement and manage storage; deploy and manage virtual machines; Identity and Access Management; secure file transfer services; configure and manage virtual networks; and data base hosting services. In addition, SAS will support the design and implementation of a cloud security services strategy for monitoring the IaaS, PaaS, SaaS solutions across the Cloud infrastructure. This Cloud Engineer is required to develop, in consultation with client, an overall implementation plan and strategy that includes technical considerations, published best practices, and comprehensive organizational change management plan to provide a seamless implementation to the Cloud and the migration of existing client resources to the Cloud. The Cloud Engineer will also support other members of the SAS team, when needed, to establish and support the identified data analytics solution, such as the SAS Viya Analytics solution which SAS is required to supply. Those tasks that other SAS team members will take the lead on will include the following high-level tasks/requirements: Support client with the implementation of a data analytics environment in the cloud, such as the SAS Viya Analytics solution. Support the system administration of the data analytics environment. Provide analytics solution support through informal knowledge transfer, hands-on workshops, and demonstrations. support the administration of clients cloud infrastructure related to the data analytics implementation.
