From: Vinod Katkam, Agile enterprise Solutions [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] PCB Designer North Berwick, ME Contract $60-62/hr on C2C PCB Designer As our Sr PWB//PCB Designer you will, owns all ECAD (electrical computer aided design) aspects of electronic hardware design from proposal to sustainment, typically for aerospace applications As a member of the electrical and software engineering team, be closely coupled with electrical hardware design engineers, and other departments as needed, to implement the tangible output of the teams vision Management of a rigorously controlled component database and libraries and ECAD processes can also be anticipated Creativity and latitude expected to resolve problems of diverse scope while being detail orientedYour ChallengeDesign and perform layout and routing of digital and analog high density multi layer printed wiring boards (PWBs)Implement clean/legible documents including circuit schematics used to create printed wiring boards (PWB) and assemblies (PWA), the PWB, and PWA itself using Altium within boundaries of internal processesCapture test setup schematics, parts lists, and wire/net lists to support test/verification needsConducts and/or participates in design reviews and releases documentationUtilize understanding of aerospace electronics design process including industry and internal design standardsLeverage experience in generating ECAD content for analog and digital embedded switched mode power electronics applications for both new and sustaining projectsMaintain existing component database and associated libraries and modification of them to suit changing needsCoordinating with design engineers, implement and maintain internal design processesExercise creativity and flexibility in applying ECAD solutions based on previous experience from implementation of electrical designs in rugged environmentsAppreciate and demonstrate a sense of urgency while adhering to high quality output standardsReview vendor experience and capability to support product developmentWork with vendors to resolve manufacturing issuesWhat You BringAssociate degree in electrical engineering technology, or equivalent, with 10 years of experience, specifically using AltiumDue to the nature of work performed in this role, incumbents must be a US citizen Security clearance is a plusExperience in the development of airborne electronic hardware is a plus CID certified is a plus Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS OfficeCreativity, innovation, and commitment to excellence with the ability to work in a diverse, fast paced environmentAbility to work in a team environmentCustomer focused with a bias towards action Keywords: microsoft |
