A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process (ADKAR) Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent active listening skills Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences Ability to establish and maintain strong, professional relationships Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations Forward looking, resilient, organized with problem solving skills Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts Prosci certification desired Current expertise in Office 365 Description: The Change Manager will develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption of technical changes. The changes are implemented by the Innovation, Architecture and Infrastructure (IAI) team in the IT department (BTS) at AbbVie. The Change Manager will, together with the project and program managers, successfully execute the project. They are responsible for: conducting thorough assessments of the current state documenting the future state creating detailed change plans using our community of practice standard methodologies and templates (based on the Prosci methodology) developing plans to anticipate and minimize resistant behaviors ensuring that the change plans and deliverables are integrated into the project plan effectively communicating the need for change to all stakeholders, including employees, managers, and BTS partners iterating the plan during the project rollout based on new information and feedbac k engaging stakeholders throughout the change process to ensure their buy-in and support. This includes executive leadership. Key responsibilities include: Develop and execute change management strategies, plans and deliverables Apply the IAI Community of Practice structured methodology process and tools to lead the change management activities Ability to ask the right questions at the right time of the right people to understand the manage the change Assess the change impact by conducting impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders. Create communication strategies to build awareness of the change Support communication efforts by enabling the design, development, delivery and management of key communications. Ensure alignment with communications policies, procedures, and channels Support training efforts by providing input, document requirements, and support of the design and delivery of training programs as needed.
