Role: AKS / ECK Admin Location: Remote Duration: Contract Experience: 8+ Years JD: Solid experience in large-scale Kubernetes environments with roles focusing on design, delivery, and operations of at-scale multi-tenant infrastructure Managing our Kubernetes Lifecycle: deployments, upgrades, monitoring, and uptime of all K8S clusters on-premises/cloud Good Understanding of Kubernetes networking, storage, Ingress controllers, cloud-native load balancers, etc Infrastructure Automation Experience with common platforms and scripting Experience with Docker creating and managing docker files. Has hands-on experience using source control and feature branching strategies Experience with monitoring, logging, and operations tools such as Elastic and Prometheus Strong working experience with Linux Systems Administration and Troubleshooting Good understanding of network technologies like DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, HTTP Experienced with systems roll-outs, adhering to change management, transitions from project phase to ongoing systems support and disaster recovery, and recovering complex environments. Ability to quickly prioritize issues/requests and be capable of personally diving deep when required to deliver solutions within an accelerated timeframe works well under pressure and can resolve complex problems. Experience in managing ECK clusters. Configured xpack for the security and monitoring of our cluster and created watches to check for the health and availability of the nodes. Experience in implementations of ML jobs for Logs and metrics correlation and APM implementation. Worked closely with application teams and support on various performance and configuration issues on daily basis. Excellent interpersonal, good analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform as part of a team. |
