| Tax BA Role Overland Park, KS (preferred) or Frisco, TX Contract Long Term Business Analyst Roles & Responsibilities: Collect and analyze the projects business requirements and transferring the same knowledge to development team. Evaluate the data collected through task analysis, business process, surveys and workshops. Provide suggestions to the development team during the development stage of product to meet the clients business needs. Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specification documents. Conducts requirement gathering meetings using any number of techniques (I.E.: JAD, questionnaires, 1 on 1 interviews, brainstorming, etc.) Communicate effectively with external clients and internal teams to deliver products functional requirements like screen, interface, and GUI designs. Document the acquired results of analysis and workflows as well as obtaining sign-off from the appropriate client. Design and execute the test scripts and test scenarios. Coordinate with the groups of business unit who test, validate, evaluate new applications and functions, and determine issues in services and software. Managing any change requests related to the working project plans daily to meet the agreed deadlines. Participate, support and adhere to all internal audit controls and compliance governances. Demonstrate and use industry standard documentation processes; including but not limited to document version control, remission tracking, and requirement traceability Apply to create, manage and support product backlogs; represent the business needs to prioritize backlog Skills Required: Proven experience conducting requirement gathering using any number of techniques. Professional, accurate, clear and concise verbal and written communications Detailed and thorough Self-driven with the ability to work independently Skills Preferred: Experience working in Telecom Product Catalogs Experience in Reference Data Management Experience with Vertex (or Other) tax software / Reference Data and Logic. Currently certified as a Business Analyst from the IIBA highly desired Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Healthcare, Accounting or any related field from an accredited institution - preferred Has 5+ years working in the position as a Senior Business Analyst for Data Warehouse environments -- Keywords: business analyst information technology Kansas Texas |
