Title: Unix/Linux Support Administrator (onsite) Duration: 1 year Visa: OPEN Client Location: Salt Lake City, UT (need only local candidates) Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 100% onsite role 5 days in office per week in Salt Lake City Responsibilities: As a Linux Administrator, you will be the Tier 1 / Tier 2 support of the Business systems in a 24x7 follow-the-sun model. This will entail alert management, OS troubleshooting, and working to restore service in a robust Enterprise Environment. Monitoring and Troubleshooting of Linux/Unix systems Alert Management Incident Management Working with clients across our Business Units to maintain and restore service Automation of activities through scripting and configuration management Working with Hardware teams to maintain the physical server estate Documentation of processes and procedures for the team Qualifications: Experience in Red Hat Linux Administration 3+ years of Unix/Linux systems administration experience Strong core OS troubleshooting experience Scripting experience in Shell, Bash, Perl and/or Python Virtualization experience in VMware Networking knowledge/skills Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-grade server hardware such as HP and Dell rackmount servers Experience using remote management interfaces like Dell iDRAC, HP iLO, VMware vCenter/vSphere Incident management experience Prior experience in the Financial Service Industry is a plus Prior Enterprise experience is a plus Relevant certifications are a strong plus Education: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (U.S. or equivalent) in a Science or Engineering program or equivalent experience Thank you [email protected] Direct :- 972-645-0322, Ext :- 110 DMS Visions, INC Keywords: hewlett packard Utah |
