| Direct client position Position: DevOps Engineer Location: Austin, TX(Remote) Duration: 5 Months Agency: Health and Human Services Commission Client: State of Texas Years of Required Experience: 8 years of Required Experience in Architecture, design, development and deployment of application and integration with tools. 8 years of Required Experience with Solution design and implementation incorporating architectures such as SOA, Event Driven, MVC, Django, server less and spring frameworks. 8 years of Required Experience with coding languages and environments including but not limited to Java, J2EE, EJB (Enterprise Java Beans), JSP (Java Server Pages / Stored Procedures), JSF/Struts (Java Server Faces, Apache Struts Framework), XML (extensible Markup Language), 8 years of Required Experience advanced CICD solution design and implementation to support application modernization and cloud migration efforts. 8 years of Required Experience integrating applications with third party IAM, SFTP, middleware, database and other solutions. 8 years of Required Experience with script languages such as Groovy, Python, Shell, Ruby, bash, shell, Perl . 8 years of Required Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems. 8 years of Required Experience in IT automated solutions design. 8 years of Required Experience with WebSphere ND, MQ, Oracle, Java, SQL tools (PL/SQL developer, SQL plus), LDAP, Splunk, Dynatrace. 8 years of Required Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Years of Preferred Experience: 5 years of Preferred Experience with Containers and Container orchestration Kubernetes platforms such as PODMAN, docker, EE/Open Shift/Rancher. 5 years of Preferred Experience with WebSphere Liberty, Tomcat, JBOSS. 5 years of Preferred Experience with containerization and with installing and maintaining DevOps tools on Kubernetes platform using Helm Charts .
