Kindly find the below-mentioned job description and if interested, share your updated resume at [email protected] Pay Rate is $50/hr on C2C Role : Azure Platform Reliability Engineer Location : Austin, TX Hybrid Office Schedule Visa : USC or GC ONLY Job Description Summary The Platform Reliability Engineer is responsible for supporting the core infrastructure including compute, storage, cloud, identity, and application support for our client. The position will assist with managing a complex enterprise-scale application and infrastructure environment, which includes robust Windows Server, VMware, and Azure cloud services. Duties will include assisting with design, deployment, automation, and maintenance of the environment along with other related support activities. Duties and Responsibilities Provides platform support including on premise and cloud compute, storage, services, and infrastructure. Automates processes and integrations across multiple technologies, primarily using Windows PowerShell. Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves complex platform issues. Performs installation, configuration, and maintenance of platform services. Assists in developing and conducting evaluations of new and existing solutions to identify potential benefits and impact to the agency. Monitors platform services to ensure system availability and efficiency. Assists with developing and documenting policies, procedures, and standards for supporting core platform technologies. Collaborates with other agency staff to identify and implement service and security improvements. Other duties assigned, which may include on-call or scheduled after hours work as required. Minimum Required Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university. OR High school diploma or equivalent and additional full-time, related experience may substitute for the required education on an equivalent year for year basis. Experience: Proven ability to administer a Microsoft Azure and Windows environment. Registration, Certification, or Licensure: None. Preferred Qualifications E xperience in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure design and support. Experience in Microsoft infrastructure design and support. Experience with PowerShell and automation technologies. Experience with Agile and ITIL methodologies and practices. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of: The practices, principles, and techniques of core infrastructure for support of the platform services using automation and monitoring. Technologies such as Windows Server, , Microsoft Azure, Microsoft M365, and Red Hat OpenShift. Current enterprise hardware design, cloud architecture, and security best practices. Skill in: Understanding standard core infrastructure technologies, tools, and protocols including: Active Directory, certificate services, code versioning, fiber channel, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP services. Analyzing routine problems and developing solutions. Creating effective automation and integration solutions using PowerShell. Communicating technical information to people of all levels of technical knowledge. Planning, organizing, and coordinating work to effectively meet frequent and/or multiple deadlines; handling multiple tasks simultaneously; and managing conflicting priorities and demands. Ability to: Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers, agency staff, and external contacts. Work effectively in a professional team environment.
