Job Title: Java Lead Location : Richmond, McClean (Onsite) Visas: No H1B Job Description: Duration: ~12 months, possibility of extension. Must Skill: coding level challenge, write the code, solve the problem. This is for 3 roles we are publishing platforms someone expertise in Spark, Java, Microservices, Frameworks, EMR clusters spark framework Perform some update from one EMR to another updated EMR The majority of the project is not enhancement, make sure we are in compliance in organizational perspective He will be working with agile teams Will work with customers or end users, LOB having some issue Fullstack engineer role: Shell Scripting, Unix or Python code. Jenkins, CI/CD, Microservices and Spark Qualification: 10+ application development in Java or Scala to know Jenkins, as we use for development project Good amount of development using spark and Scala knowledge We don't do much of Kafka, understanding of Kafka, not expertise. Ex cap one and solid will work for 8 years too AWS: EMR, ECS, Lambda, Snowflake know will be plus Someone with java project with Data background Java and spark is definitely a must Scala is good to know. Responsibilities: Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in cloud engineering space. Work with a team of developers with deep experience in in distributed systems, microservices and full-stack systems, devops(Jenkins,CICD, etc) and cloud concepts such as (EC2, EMR, ECS, Lambda, IAM, Security Groups, S3, etc.) Utilize programming languages like Java/Scala and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases and Cloud based data warehousing services such as Snowflake Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack data development tools and technologies. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in application development including with Scala/Java 10 + years of devops experience including CICD pipelines - Jenkins/Maven/Sonar/etc 7 + years experience with any distributed data/computing tools (such as Spark, Kafka, EMR, EC2, EMR, ECS, Lambda, IAM, Security Groups, S3, etc.) 5+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting.
