Network Testing

Operating within our cutting-edge hardware device testing laboratory, you will spearhead the construction of mock test environments and maintain the technical infrastructure necessary for rigorous testing across various projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong expertise in network technologies and a understanding of testing equipment and tool, technical acumen within IoT, and a passion for quality assurance. Effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, coupled with clear communication of technical concepts.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with customers and cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements, ensure proper setup of test environments.

Work with Shipyard staff to address issues and drive improvements as well as uphold health and safety policies in Laboratory operations

Conduct functional and performance testing on diverse devices and systems, ensuring adherence to quality standards and detailed reporting to stakeholders,.

Stay abreast of industry trends/standards, emerging technologies, and recommended practices as well as regulatory requirement in IoT, building management, and workplace technology systems.

Strong organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Technical Skills:

Strong Network configuration: Cisco iOS, Subnetting, SDWAN experience

Experience with IOT/OT protocols such as Zigbee, Zwave, Modbus, LoRa, BACnet

Ability to construct physical or digital mock test environments to accurately simulate customer production environments.

Proficiency in testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies to ensure comprehensive quality assurance.

Administering and maintaining the testing network, equipment, tools, and technical infrastructure within the Shipyard.

Troubleshooting technical issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions as required.
