Duration: 7 month VISA: NO H1B Job Description: Required Skills Strong experience with Linux administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux: RHEL on AWS platform Required Strong Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting Linux systems and applications Hands-on experience in performance monitoring enablement to manage the Scaling up and down of the environments Required Experience with Linux OS Patch (including taking snapshots of instances before applying updates) and OS Level Vulnerability Management Strong experience with Cookie Security, Web Browser Security, Server side encryptions, Data Encryption at Rest and Key management Strong experience with Image Management using Redhat Image Experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS) like EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, SSM and EBS. Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Bind, Apache, nginx, MYsql etc Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Cloudformation, Puppet, or Chef Strong scripting skills, specifically in Bash or Python Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, and routing Proficient with network tools such as iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc Experience in capturing, interpreting, and analyzing network traffic Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP Troubleshooting Apache issues like performance testing and tuning, failure to restart, and queuing of requests Experience in performing multi-platform volume management using SVM, LVM, ZFS, NAS, and the VERITAS volume manager Experience with security best practices and implementing security controls in a AWS cloud environment Familiarity with wired and wireless networking hardware and architectures, Virtual LAN (VLAN) setup and configuration, VPN, Routing, IPV4, IPV6 Experience in user account management for large organization Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE and LPIC) will be considered an advantage Keywords: sthree North Carolina |
