We are a product-led organization transforming the way data is sourced, designed, and used to help us scale seamlessly in the face of incredible growth. We are looking for a thought leader in how to design, implement, manage, and scale our performance for all internal use cases. You will join a growing Data Analytics, Engineering & Integration team that supports the data needs of our Healthcare Pharmacy client and internal stakeholders, across all business functions. Your role in our mission: Work closely with engineers to deploy models to production both in batch and real-time while systematically tracking model performance. Build complex data sets from multiple data sources and write complex data flows using Databricks, SQL, Spark, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, R). Use data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to share ongoing insights. Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Function as a subject matter expert on machine learning and predictive modeling. Assist engagements with key business stakeholders in a discussion on business opportunities. Be an evangelist driving wider adoption of analytics across the enterprise. Generate performance metrics such as accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, ROG, AUG, calibration, and SHAP (Shapley Additive explanations). Lead large data science projects and deliver innovative technical solutions to solve problems and improve business outcomes. Design, develop, test, validate, and deploy Machine Learning (ML)/ Statistical models to not only learn from our vast amounts of data but to build new products. What we are looking for: 5+ years of experience in Medicaid/ Pharmacy data analysis using Relational Databases, Databricks, SQL, and Python. 5+ years of experience in leading complex data science projects from requirements through development to prod, end-to-end. Experience implementing Databricks/ Spark solutions in a cloud environment (AWS or Azure) in an Agile framework. 2+ years of industry experience in Data Science/ Machine Learning as a mid-senior data scientist/ technical lead developing ML models with business impact, along with 5+ years of hands-on, industry experience with data & languages such as e.g., SQL, Python, R, SAS. Experience with 2 or more additional modeling techniques (i.e., Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, Time Series Analysis, Optimization algorithms) with one or more deep learning libraries (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Gaffe) is a plus. Additional Skills/ Experience: Computer Science Degree: Statistics, Informatics, or another quantitative field. SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as familiarity with a variety of databases, Vertica a plus. Experience with Application and Data Analytics testing strategy and execution. Support the orchestration and implementation of Databricks Control Plane and Data Plane solutions/ processes. Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data analytics needs. Streamline existing and introduce enhanced reporting and analysis solutions that leverage complex data sources derived from multiple internal systems. Work in collaboration with infrastructure and development teams to design, migrate, build, and maintain optimal data pipeline, data models (Logical/ Physical) program code base, architecture, and data structures for the Healthcare Lakehouse and supporting components. Experience working with AWS cloud services: EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift and Glacier/ Archival. Experience with Data mining, Data Science, and Predictive analytics is a plus.
