Please find below requirement and let me know your interest PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant Location: Jersey City, NJ Onsite Duration: Long term Role name: Functional Consultant Role Description: Act as a subject matter expert in the PeopleSoft Core HR & NA Payroll modules and be the go-to expert within the organization for managed projects and solutionsWork as a Functional lead in support, implementations, upgrades, assessments and PUM analysis projects.Lead customers through during all phases of the project from Transition to Steady State; PUM Updates & PeopleTools UpgradesProvide Timely support for all Payroll related queries including Monthly, Year End and Tax Update processPerform Assessment of the clients PeopleSoft application landscape, its functionality and application usage, provide recommendation for efficient use of existing as well as new functionalities in PayrollLeverage deep process, domain, and application knowledge to guide customers towards best practices, process redesign and application solutionsManaging Complex Interfaces between different Customer applicationsResponsible to create and manage Functional Design documents for - Create Functional specificationsCreate System Test Case documentsReview test results and debug issues Competencies: Oracle - PeopleSoft Payroll, Oracle PeopleSoft Core HR Experience (Years): 10 Essential Skills: PeopleSoft HCM Functional Knowledge on following modules is mustNA PayrollHandling NA Payroll Configurations and Monthly Payroll ProcessingHandling User queries on compensation, earnings, deductions, social security, taxes, loans, garnishments, legal issues in payrollHandling union agreements requirements of Unions in US regionApplying tax updatesGood to have -Benefits Functional KnowledgeT&L Functional KnowledgeBasic functionality of the module and integration and data flow between payroll and other HCM modules must be knowingNew York State Employers Retirement System and Police and Fire Retirement SystemExperience in Public sector organizationPeopleTools Application Designer, Application Engine, Integration Broker, XML Publisher, SQR, PS Query, Component Interface, COBOL, PUM Desirable Skills: At least 9-12 years of experience in PeopleSoft applications Must have Functional knowledge of the areas of Payroll and have a thorough knowledge of US regulatory requirements (taxes, social security contributions) Must have worked on Support and Maintenance / Upgrade project as a Functional ConsultantDemonstrated proficiency in all phases of PeopleSoft development including technical analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post implementation supportIn-depth understanding of PeopleTools, PeopleCode and PeopleSoft security featuresShould have in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft SDLC project life cycleProficiency in Production Support for PeopleSoft ApplicationsSolid understanding of setup tables, reporting, and integration of all modulesProficiency in Production Support for PeopleSoft ApplicationsShould be able to understand and support inbound/outbound interfacesExperience in Functional & Technical Design documentsMust speak English.
