VDH is digitizing its paper-based records for storage and management in SharePoint. VDH seeks a SharePoint Architect to support the digitization effort by creating and managing SharePoint sites for customers across the agency. Advise customers on SharePoint features and how they apply to their unique needs Understand and apply records management principles/rules based on individual customer requirements Collaborate with stakeholders to create consistent user-friendly design and implementation approach Apply user UI/UX best practices to ensure 508 compliance, adherence to VDH design standards and provide a seamless user experience Understand and troubleshoot security issues, customer questions and other inquiries as needed Understand and apply VDH approved standards and processes Develop a SharePoint Records Center using retention labels to manage required retention policies, creating and managing file plans and building simple workflows and processes Develop solutions that comply with existing security protocols and guidelines Identify and escalate items that are architecturally significant and thereby affect development design/approach/solution Engage in consistent and ongoing interactions with customer subject matter experts Facilitate trainings and education opportunities Other duties as needed 5 years previous experience as a SharePoint and/or Web Developer 3 years UI experience 3 years UX experience 3 years of experience developing custom SharePoint solutions Extensive knowledge using SharePoint Designer and InfoPath Ability to manage Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Center Experience with SharePoint site creation, UI/UX design, document library configuration, view creation, and metadata management Proficiency with PowerApps, Power Automate/Flow, Migration manager, etc. Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience previous experience as a SharePoint and/or Web Developer Required 5 Years UI experience Required 3 Years UX experience Required 3 Years developing custom SharePoint solutions Required 3 Years Extensive knowledge using SharePoint Designer and InfoPath Required 3 Years Ability to manage Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Center Required 3 Years Experience with SharePoint site creation, UI/UX design, document library configuration, view creation, and metadata management Required 3 Years Proficiency with PowerApps, Power Automate/Flow, Migration manager, etc. Required 3 Years Preferred: Required In-depth understanding of SharePoint in a records management, information governance or compliance role ideally with strong Records Management knowhow Highly desired 2 Years In-depth understanding of the Microsoft Azure, Azure Active Directory, and O365 platforms Desired 2 Years BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience Desired 5 Years Exam SC-900: Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals Desired 2 Years Exam MS-500: Microsoft 365 Security Administration Desired 2 Years Exam: Box Certified Professional Desired 2 Years Question 3 If hired, does candidate agree to come onsite to Richmond, VA to pick up laptop This is REQUIRED.
