Kindly go through the below mentioned job description Role: SAP APO with PPDS Consultant Location: Minneapolis, MN (Remote) Duration: Long term contract Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into SAP APO PPDS solutions. Configure and customize SAP APO PPDS to meet business process requirements, including master data setup, scheduling parameters, heuristic configurations, and integration with other SAP modules. Lead and participate in workshops, design sessions, and testing cycles to ensure successful implementation of PPDS functionality. Provide expertise in areas such as capacity planning, scheduling algorithms, sequencing, finite capacity scheduling, and optimization within SAP APO PPDS. Work closely with developers and technical teams to design and implement enhancements or custom solutions as needed. Support end-users with training, documentation, and troubleshooting of PPDS processes and functionalities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP APO PPDS and other SAP modules such as SAP ERP, SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA, etc. Stay current with SAP APO PPDS best practices, new features, and industry trends to recommend and implement continuous improvements. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience working with SAP APO modules, with a focus on PPDS. Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts, production scheduling, and manufacturing processes. Hands-on experience with SAP APO PPDS configuration, including but not limited to master data setup, heuristics, optimizer profiles, scheduling profiles, and integration with core SAP ECC or S/4HANA systems. Experience with SAP APO CIF (Core Interface) and integration with other SAP modules. Proficiency in ABAP programming language for troubleshooting and custom development is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
