Quality roadmap development, identifying the top perennial quality issues to focus on, workplan on how to resolve the warranty issues to achieve target. Design & release ownership of the carryover products for suspension components. These parts are not intended to change, however, if deemed necessary to improve product quality, this Engineering team will be responsible for change management and design validation. In addition, this team will be responsible for suspension tuning change management. Chassis suspension warranty analysis using the CUSTOMER Quantic system. Weekly requirement. Identify and investigate any increases in product warranty, and the projected impact to EOY quality results. Contain and resolve issues. CUSTOMER assembly plant on site attention to chassis suspension manufacturing and assembly processes to assure compliance to specification as a means of prevention. Suspension assembly torque process audits, all plants, all suspension joints. Immediate on-site attention & discovery of reported quality spills. Utilization of reactive quality tools when necessary for root cause issues. Training to be provided through the Chassis business manager. Root cause analysis of all new quality issues and report (CUSTOMER template). Recommended containment actions to resolve quality issues immediately, to support on-going production. Alignment with CUSTOMER chassis core team. Recommended permanent corrective action. Alignment with CUSTOMER Chassis core team. Close communication with CUSTOMER assembly plant resident engineering, to align on work streams and prepare issue summary reports for presentation at Warranty Table meetings. Warranty table meetings are the key forum for reporting findings and results. For product safety related quality spills, participate in the PRI investigation meetings providing RCA, containment action and rework procedures. Alignment with CUSTOMER core team. Quality issues that may have impact to regulatory compliance or customer safety may result in an internal investigation. The CUSTOMER Chassis core team will take over these activities.
