I work closely with some of the leading Global IT Management Consulting companies for their hiring needs in the United States Role: Business Analyst Location: Remote Job Description: Senior Business Analyst - Data Warehouse Implementation for LDTI Compliance Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to lead the implementation of a data warehouse solution aimed at meeting Long Duration Targeted Improvements (LDTI) compliance requirements for our life and annuity company. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing data sources, designing data models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities: 1. Gather and analyze business requirements related to LDTI compliance for life and annuity products. 2. Collaborate with stakeholders, including actuarial, accounting, IT, and regulatory teams, to understand data needs and compliance requirements. 3. Conduct data analysis to identify relevant data sources, data elements, and data quality considerations for LDTI reporting. 4. Design and document data models, data flows, and data mappings to support LDTI compliance within the data warehouse solution. 5. Work closely with IT teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation. 6. Define and document business rules, calculations, and assumptions for LDTI reporting within the data warehouse environment. 7. Develop test plans and perform testing to validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity for LDTI compliance. 8. Provide support and guidance during the implementation phase, including user acceptance testing and production rollout. 9. Assist with training and knowledge transfer to ensure business users understand data warehouse capabilities and LDTI compliance requirements. 10. Stay informed about regulatory updates and industry best practices related to LDTI compliance and data warehousing. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field. 2. Minimum of 8 years of experience as a business analyst, with a focus on data warehousing, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting within the insurance industry. 3. Strong understanding of life and annuity products, including actuarial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., LDTI, GAAP, STAT). 4. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). 5. Experience with data modeling concepts and techniques, including dimensional modeling and data normalization. 6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. 8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 9. Prior experience with Agile or other iterative development methodologies preferred. 10. Knowledge of insurance industry software applications (e.g., policy administration systems, actuarial modeling software) is a plus.
