Job Description Title: Java Tech Lead / Lead Principal Software Engineer Job Type - Contract to Hire Location: 2301 Renaissance Blvd, King of Prussia, PA 19406, United States (Hybrid Role ) This position is responsible for working on engineering project(s) based on Java Spring Boot, React JS, NodeJs, Microservices, AWS Cloud Postgres, SQL, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Ec2, S3 CloudWatch, Route53, GA etc, CI-CD using Github Actions, Helm Charts, Argo CD, Terraform, AWS EKS (Kubernetes). This position is responsible for performing analysis, hands-on coding, design, architect, proof of concept, enhances applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations, and designing & implementing systems. This position requires interaction with other group members and tech groups, and as such, requires excellent communication skills. This position requires the ability to work independently, as well as in collaboration with others to implement solutions. Job Description: Java-Spring Boot-Agile. 8 to 12 years of strong Java & J2EE working experience . Java 17 (minimum 8) , SpringBoot, REST APIs Databases: PostGreSQL, SQL Server Containerization : at least Docker , Build - Maven CI/CD skills - GitHub Actions , AWS : basic services like S3, EC2, virtual private network Unit test frameworks like Junit, Groovy, Sonar, Security tools like checkmarx, Rapid7 etc. Mandatory Skills: Java Springboot , J2EE REST PostgreSQL SQL SQL Server Containerization Docker Maven Good to have : Functional eCommerce platform knowledge. Strong Team player to gel very well along with team. Participate in team activities and team planning with the aim of improving team skills, awareness and quality of work. Excellent analytical skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process Job function: Review/understand business requirements, prepare technical design specifications based on functional requirements, prepare proof of concept or technical spikes/enables and work with team in implementing designed. Enhance applications & code by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations, and designing and implementing systems. Promote continuous improvement by identifying process in efficiencies and quality improvements. Involve/lead multiple technical evaluation, application/code optimization, continuous integration, code quality assurance, code reviews, leading/consulting technical teams Collaborate with product management team to review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents and provide feedback. Responsible to define NFRs and implement application meeting defined NFRs Responsible for conceptual/technical design & architecture, partner with architectural review board for design review Responsible to ensure security is taken care using various tools like Checkmarx, Rapid 7, Pen Testing etc prevent unauthorized access. Responsible CI-CD implementations using Github Actions, Helm Charts, Argo CD, and write Terraform. Script for infra creation Responsible for designing & implementing disaster recovery, increasing maturity goal, involve in Hackthons etc. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Strong hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot, ReactJS, Writing/Designing Microservices, NoSQL Strong in writing Technical Specifications, Design Documents and Architecting the Solutions Strong on CI-CD implementation using Github Actions, Helm Charts, Argo CD, AWS EKS and Terraform Scripting Efficient hands-on Experience working in AWS Cloud environment API Gateway, DynamoDB, EC2, VPC, RDS, Route53, Disaster Recovery Understanding of databases - Relational and NoSQL, Postgres, DynamoDB Engineer with brilliant troubleshooting skills Ability to listen and understand information and communicate the same. Ability to work independently with wide latitude for independent decision making. Must be results oriented, customer focused, and exhibit good interpersonal skills. Ability to apply professional concepts, experience, and company objectives to perform an in-depth analysis of situations or data to resolve complex issues in creative ways.
