Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Java and Kafka. Implement scalable and fault-tolerant solutions for event-driven architectures. Collaborate with frontend developers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate backend systems with other components of the application. Optimize system performance and reliability through performance tuning and monitoring. Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure system stability and reliability. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Stay up-to-date with the latest Kafka features, best practices, and industry trends. Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and code reviews. Requirements: Proven experience as a Java backend developer, with strong proficiency in Java programming language. In-depth understanding of Kafka architecture and its application in building scalable, distributed systems. Experience with Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, and Kafka ecosystem tools. Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous communication patterns.
