There will be both development and maintenance tasks associated with the role, as we build new features and support existing products. The research aspects of the role include the study and application of state-of-the-art analytic methods. The development aspects of the role involve the translation of the research into new analytics functionality for product platforms. The willingness to explore and deeply understand the healthcare data works with is a must. Must be able to propose new methods for solving analytical problems and provide experience-based solutions. Must have the ability to convey complex ideas, learn on the fly, and to put newly acquired knowledge into practice. Required experience includes: 7+ years of Data Scientist and Machine Learning experience in the healthcare industry and/or with population-level health / patient analytics for nephrology SQL, Python, and git version control systems skills are required Experience in data pre-processing techniques for statistical and machine learning applications Cloud-based, distributed data systems, i.e., AWS, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Snowflake, Spark is needed Experience with creating data visualizations to support communication of ideas Strong communication skills and presentations to convey ideas (story telling) Keywords: New Jersey |
