Interview: 1 round over video, 60 minutes, 3-4 panelists Job Description below The Role As a KDB+ Developer you will work within the Regulatory Reporting Technology team to build mission critical important brokerage applications for the enterprise. You will be collaborating with the regulatory reporting business team and other brokerage technology teams to develop applications for reporting across multiple assets classes with very high levels of regulatory scrutiny. This role is passionate about hands-on development and delivery, which requires a combination of both good technical skills, and participation in architecture, design and analysis activities! The Team The Regulatory Reporting Technology team is part of our broader Brokerage Technology group. As a team we partner closely with our Capital Markets to build and maintain regulatory reporting capabilities to meet the strict requirements of our regulators. As a team, we strive to deliver innovative, end to end technical/data solutions for our partners. The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar field, Masters a plus 5+ years of development experience with strong knowledge of q/KDB+ programming, Python, Scripting (Shell/Perl) , Unix or Linux, SQL/Relational Databases, such as Oracle, is required A deep understanding of various programming languages Hands-on experience in application deployment automation and pipelines Experience implementing projects as a team in Agile environments (Kanban and Scrum) Experience crafting, building, and deploying applications in a DevOps environment using CI/CD pipeline; experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy Experience working with Artifactory and familiarity with API registries (e.g., Apigee) Ability to learn new things, new technology, and tackle problems Knowledge of Cloud computing concepts and deploying and managing applications in the Cloud (AWS S3, EC2, and CloudFormation along with Lambdas/Python) a plus Experience working in Java, Spring Boot and Kafka, is a plus Experience in user interface frameworks/platforms (Angular, React, etc.) a plus Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment sthree wtwo Massachusetts New Jersey North Carolina Texas |
