This individual will be responsible for monitoring, enhancing and troubleshoot any and all functions of the agencies Office 365 environment and similar Groupware tools including Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook. This individual needs to be tenured enough to be comfortable in a mentorship and training role. A successful administrator will be someone that has strong communication skills and is comfortable speaking with peers and customers of all levels of tenure. Skills Required for this Role: Ability to define business requirements for the organizations next generation of collaborative work tools Collaboration skills in working with end-users to develop specifications for the development and implementation of groupware applications (e.g., Lotus Notes, Microsoft Exchange). User story creation to better understand necessary system enhancement is a nice to have Evaluates and recommends associated hardware/software solutions based on business requirements and user needs. Actively involved in engineering and deploying various groupware applications such as team collaborative computing, Internet and wireless access, document sharing and next generation messaging clients. Education/Experience Required: 3-4 years minimum of IT work experience in programming and systems analysis. Experience with groupware/messaging technologies, tools, and relevant platforms (Microsoft Teams management). Job Responsibilities: The primary function of this position is to provide technical expertise and systems analysis to a dedicated team focused on system management, supporting them in their work to manage and support the Microsoft 365 environment. Must have a working knowledge of configuring services, supporting, monitoring, and maintaining an enterprise Microsoft 365 environment. Ability to manage and work on multiple products, activities, and projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader. Works on moderately complex tasks, projects, activities, or support issues that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and has expertise in one product/system. May coach more junior technical staff, functioning as a mentor to team members is encouraged and a benefit.
