Role: Salesforce Developer Location: San Jose, CA Local Day one onsite Duration: Long Term Contract Looking for H1B from third-party vendors Need PP no Responsibilities: Candidate must have hands-on implementation experience with Salesforce.com implementations and custom integrations. The candidate will need to work on designing and Developing business-critical solutions using Salesforce. Candidate will need to work closely with other teams in IT including Business Solution Analyst, QA, Release Management, and Operations. The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with other engineers and project stakeholders on the design and development of solutions and integrations. The candidate will be responsible for building and unit testing the integrations using the appropriate technology. They will work closely with the testing team to validate their integration, and with Operations to investigate, troubleshoot, and address production issues. The candidate will need to provide L3 technical support for critical issues and outages. Competencies: Digital: Salesforce Administration and Functional Design Essential Skills: The candidate should have a minimum of 9+ years of overall IT experience with at least 6+ years on Salesforce.com. Experience with integration between Salesforce and other 3rd party applications. Hands-on Experience in Salesforce.com, Visual Force, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, Apex Triggers, Apex Web services, APIs and SOQL. Advanced Salesforce user and administrator skills (including using permissions, roles, profiles, queues, security setup, views, and page layouts). Strong technical background on the following technologies: Apex Language, Apex Trigger, Apex Class & Apex Web Service, Visual Force (Page, Component & Controllers) and JavaScript. Strong relational database skills, preferably experience with writing stored procedure, functions, triggers and data modeling. Good hands on experience in Soap/Rest API/web service including hands on experience in building point-to-point integration and building integration using middleware. Experience of Data Migration from Salesforce to Salesforce, Salesforce to other platforms and other platforms to Salesforce. Experience with development using Eclipse and integration with versioning and build systems. Adept in configuration management tools, and code review tools like GIT and Fisheye. In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the SFDC CRM application coupled with a good understanding of the business processes (Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, etc.). Solid understanding of the SFDC Data model and Data Architecture, Configuration, Apex coding, Visual Force, Web Services and Data Management. Experience troubleshooting and finding multiple solutions to a complex problem. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical issues and resolve problems. Experience in delivering IT solutions using Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices. Preferably Salesforce Certified Developer.
