Qualifications 8+ years of appropriate technical experience- heavy architecture experience Advanced-level experience developing modular solutions in Python, Scala and Java worked in that tech stack with SQL *Experience with Spark for data processing High quality software architecture and design methodologies and patterns Strong SQL skills with commensurate experience in a large database platform Complete SDLC process and Agile Methodology (Scrum) Strong oral and written communication skills Experience with building Java-based web applications Heavy Financial experience- ideally Wealth Management Design and lead the technical design phase for new web applications > Research new and upcoming technologies for future portfolio utilization. > Guide developers and development leads to adhere to technical designs, while participating in the development process to ensure project success. > Participate in the design and development of solutions that integrate with existing firm technologies, including both home built systems and the IBM OpenPages platform. > Provide subject matter expertise to business partners where appropriate to guide them towards appropriate technical solutions, procedures, and designs. > Expert in MVC architecture patterns and Standards-Based Web Applications.
