| Direct client position Position: IT Project Manager Duration: 1 Year Location: Des Moines, IA (Hybrid) Required/Desired Skills: Five or more years of progressively responsible IT project management experience Experience with major defined project management methodologies, e.g., waterfall, agile, hybrid. Demonstrated experience working with diverse teams and managing a variety of IT projects, including technology infrastructure, data systems, application deployments, or similar services. Knowledge of project management methodology and experience or familiarity with major program management approaches (for example, PMI, agile, etc.) Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Experience managing projects of a size and complexity similar to the size and complexity of the Department Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) Desirable Qualifications: Experience working in State government , academic institution, or similar organization Manager and work with large enterprise initiatives.
