The Mainframes Developer will work on a hybrid model at our client location and work remotely to analyze, design, and develop software solutions based on user requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing applications and will develop new functionality in a Mainframe environment using JAVA. Required Skills: Should have expert knowledge in COBOL, CICS, MVS, JCL, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, FileAid, CA-EasyTrieve, Schedule tool (CA-7), Control-M, Abend-AID, JAVA, J2EE, EJB, JavaBeans, JavaScript, servlets, JDBC, struts, JSR-352, Hibernateand Qualifications Strong analytical skills and experience in software development Proficiency in mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, and VSAM Experience in batch processing and developing job control language (JCL) Ability to write and debug mainframe software programs in IBM z/OS environment Strong programming experience in Java and familiarity with Spring Framework, Structs, Hibernate Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience in cloud-based environments and tools such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus Keywords: zos information technology California Maryland |
