| From: Ryan, nitya software [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Technical Product Owner (Denodo) Location: Raleigh NC preferred (open for remote for strong candidates) Position Overview: The Technical Product Owner will spearhead the development, execution, and evolution of our cutting-edge data solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs. This role demands a unique blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of data virtualization, warehousing, and integration technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Denodo, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and API management tools, driving the creation of scalable, efficient, and high-performing data architectures that support our strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Product Leadership: Define and prioritize product roadmaps, backlogs, and development plans based on business requirements, market research, and customer feedback. Ensure products align with company vision and market needs. Technical Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on Denodo data virtualization, BI Reporting (Power BI etc.) and Snowflake data warehousing. Good to have Databricks data engineering, ADF, and API integration technologies. Guide the technical team in implementing best practices and innovative solutions. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and data stewards to translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable work items. Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to ensure successful product outcomes. Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond. Ensure products meet quality standards, comply with regulations, and achieve performance metrics. Data Strategy and Governance: Develop and enforce data governance policies and practices. Ensure data integrity, security, and privacy in all product-related data activities. Market and Customer Understanding: Conduct market research and customer interviews to understand and anticipate market trends and customer needs. Incorporate insights into product development and iteration. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product performance metrics. Leverage insights to optimize product features, improve user experiences, and inform future development. Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, Data Architect, or similar role in data-focused products. Strong technical background with hands-on experience and/or exposure to Denodo, Snowflake, BI Reporting (Power BI), Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and API integration. Excellent understanding of data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing concepts. Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
