This position is with Agency Services for MDOC and Assists in the design, development, delivery, and support of Information Technology (IT) solutions to the Client Agency. We are searching for a skilled Business Analyst that is proficient in all IT procedures and has excellent communication skills. You need to have a strong technical expertise in database design and development and come from an IT background. Ask questions and clearly communicate your results to audiences that are technical and non-technical alike. Working closely with developers and being able to assist them in their job should not present any difficulties for you. It's not necessary for you to be a developer; nonetheless, you should be able to convey the technical aspects of what developers are looking at to the client. Additionally, you should be able to compile business needs and clearly deconstruct them for developers. Above all else we are looking for these skills in a Business Analyst: Strong analytical skills Effective communications skills Ability to liaise with stakeholders Problem solving mindset Previous successful migration experience Knowledge of databases and SQL Top Skills & Years of Experience: Ability to understand technical details provided by developers and the ability to convey these details clearly and concisely Strong communication skills are mandatory Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field You should embrace diversity and the DTMB commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
