Role Summary We are seeking a passionate Principal Test Automation Engineer to champion and elevate our test automation efforts. This role requires an individual who can not only serve as the authority on test automation but can also nurture a culture of continuous improvement in product and code quality within the team. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary authority and resource for all matters related to test automation. Mentor team members on the best practices of test automation, ensuring standards are maintained and continuously improved upon. Stay abreast of the latest testing methodologies in the market, bringing back knowledge and insights to further strengthen our processes. Influence and drive the team towards best practices and habits that amplify code and product quality. Experience 10+ years as a test automa8on engineer working in large enterprises. 5+ years working on JS technologies. 5+ years working on Java technologies. 5+ years working on industry standard test automation tools ex: Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright etc. Technical Requirements Proficient in testing principles, knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, & API testing. Proficient in using GIT or other distributed version control systems. Proficient in Java and JavaScript. Good understanding of microservices based architecture. Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Selenium/Playwright, and JUnit or their equivalents. Experience with API testing tools. Familiarity with Jenkins for con8nuous integra8on and deployment. Familiarity with static code analysis tools. Comfortable using IntelliJ or similar IDEs. Cultural & Soft Skill Requirements Stellar communication skills with the aptitude to explain complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
