About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team in Bloomington Normal, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting our development team and ensuring the success of our projects. You will wear multiple hats, providing architectural guidance, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to development tasks. Responsibilities: Technical Architect: Provide core architectural support to the development team, ensuring technical solutions align with business needs. Design, develop, and implement complex Guidewire solutions using best practices and industry standards. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Guidewire and related technologies. Collaboration and Communication: Foster collaboration between clients and the technical team, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical architecture. Work closely with technical leads and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand project needs and deliver effective solutions. Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Development and Testing: Contribute to development assignments as needed, leveraging your expertise in Java/J2EE and related technologies. Assist with system and performance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the solutions. Participate in code deployment and quality assurance processes. Teamwork and Leadership: Work effectively in a collaborative team environment, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere. Actively share knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices with the team members. Mentor and guide junior members, helping them develop their technical and professional skills. Be willing to go above and beyond to ensure the success of the organization and our clients. Adhere to established TCS hierarchy and structures. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience as a Guidewire developer/architect. Expert level understanding and experience with Guidewire Policy Center (must-have). Proficiency in Java/J2EE, SOAP/RESTful Web Services, and AWS Solution Architecture. Working knowledge of XML, HTML/JSP, Spring MVC, CSS, AJAX, and Junit.
