Role : SAP PP/MM with Ariba Location : Fremont, CA Duration : Contract Job Description : We are seeking a skilled SAP PP/MM (Production Planning/Materials Management) Consultant with expertise in Ariba to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP PP/MM modules along with proficiency in Ariba procurement solutions. As a SAP PP/MM with Ariba Consultant, you will play a crucial role in implementing, customizing, and supporting SAP solutions to optimize production planning, materials management, and procurement processes. Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP PP/MM and Ariba solutions. Design, configure, and customize SAP PP/MM and Ariba modules to meet business needs effectively. Implement end-to-end procurement processes including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor management, and sourcing strategies using Ariba solutions. Lead or participate in SAP PP/MM and Ariba integration projects with other modules such as SAP SD, SAP FI/CO, and SAP WM. Provide expertise in troubleshooting, resolving issues, and performing root cause analysis related to SAP PP/MM and Ariba functionalities. Conduct training sessions for end-users and create documentation for SAP PP/MM and Ariba configurations, processes, and best practices. Stay updated with SAP and Ariba product releases, new features, and industry trends to suggest enhancements and optimizations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Act as a subject matter expert for SAP PP/MM and Ariba modules, providing guidance and support to junior team members as needed. Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes and configurations to drive efficiency and effectiveness in production planning, materials management, and procurement functions. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience (X years) as a SAP PP/MM Consultant with hands-on configuration and implementation experience. Strong understanding of SAP PP/MM functionalities including MRP, BOM, Work Center, Routing, Inventory Management, and Warehouse Management. Experience implementing and configuring Ariba procurement solutions (e.g., Ariba Buying, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contracts). In-depth knowledge of SAP integration techniques and best practices, particularly with Ariba and other SAP modules. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. SAP certification in relevant modules is a plus. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based solutions is preferred.
