Job Title Senior Java Developer Job Location Seattle or Glendale, WA -Onsite from day one -Need local or nearby Duration - 6 Months+ Visa -Any Visa except H1B, CPT Mode of Interview - Phone/Skype Note -Need LinkedIn LOCATION DETAILS: Onsite 4 days either in Seattle or Glendale office - most of team is in Seattle Java Developer with AWS experience- must Lambdas/ SDK- nice to have Ideally for the two roles would like one backend Java and the 2nd role Java with QA experience as they need that piece for the elections Preferred/nice to have Spring boot NOSQL experience-nice to have AWS Experience is a must have and it must be recent. Do not submit resumes of candidates not currently working in AWS- so if they are currently working in Google or Microsoft and not AWS, do not submit them. Team wants current relevant AWS experience Interview process will be 1st round 45 minutes with manager- behavior and some tech. Final round 60 minutes all tech Backend Java Developer Responsibilities Contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of stateful microservices and lambdas in a multi-region cloud environment. Promote and support Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban by participating regular ceremonies such as stand-up, retrospectives and sprint planning. Collaborate with other Devs, Product Managers, Designers, QA, Operations, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and articulate technical decisions and outcomes. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in the software engineering field, with a focus on building highly available architecture, shipping robust code and creating a positive team environment Fluent in multiple programming languages but strong Java skills a requirement. Demonstrated success in being part of a team problem-solving, designing and implementing software at scale Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and external partners.
