Must have skills: Proficiency at designing and developing software using many of the following: [Python (Django)], SQL (Postgres), AWS (S3, Fargate, ElastiCache, RDS), Terraform, Athena, Fargate, Step Functions, ElasticSearch Experience building enterprise software with complex business rules and data models Experience designing and developing microservices or other distributed systems Experience with scaling to work with large data sets Proficiency in Agile software development methodology, processes, and practices Business problems these developers will handle: Actively participate as a coder and reviewer among a small software engineering team. Work closely with Agile teams to collectively devise, build, assess, and maintain data-centric solutions. Lead discussions on architecture and decision-making within the team and in collaboration with other teams. Engage with essential project stakeholders, guide team members, and advance software engineering methodologies. Establish and promote the adoption of technologies and methodologies aimed at reducing risk and enhancing efficiency. Uphold and enhance established software development standards and best practices.
