Execute cluster fixes during scheduled maintenance windows on Friday/Saturday nights. Handle daily operations, address support tickets, and ensure the smooth functioning of AIX systems. Set up and manage both HCMP and POWER HA, ensuring optimal performance and high availability. Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a 24-hour response time during the on-call rotation. Keep detailed documentation of system configurations, changes, and incident resolutions. Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience as a Systems Administrator, with a focus on AIX. Proficient in HACMP and POWER HA, with hands-on experience in both setup and management. Strong background in working with clusters, developing plans to fix broken clusters, and troubleshooting cluster-related issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
