Minimum of 8 years of experience in data architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise data systems with a significant focus on healthcare or health insurance data systems. Expertise in Azure cloud services, particularly those related to data storage, processing, and analytics (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure DataBricks, Azure Synapse Analytics). Strong foundation in SQL database development, performance tuning, and optimization. Demonstrable hands-on coding skills in languages such as SQL, Python, or similar, with the ability to prototype solutions and lead by example. Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes, with experience in designing solutions that support both real-time and batch data processing. Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and data security practices. Familiarity with HIPAA and other healthcare-related regulatory and compliance requirements. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and the capability to drive architectural decisions at the enterprise level.
