Job Role Manager of Corporate Technology Lab- Hospitality and Casino Industry Location Las Vegas, Nevada (Onsite) Duration - 6 Months+C2H Visa -Any Visa Mode Of Interview - Phone/Skype Note - Need LinkedIn Job Description Position Overview: As the Manager of Corporate Technology Lab in the Hospitality and Casino industry, you will spearhead the operations of a multifaceted laboratory. This innovative space comprises a Comparative Lab focusing on development, system integration, and user acceptance testing/quality assurance; an Innovation Lab exploring cutting-edge technologies; and a Showcase Mock Resort Floor, simulating a casino resort environment for technology demonstrations. Leading a team of professionals, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Digital Officer (CDO), Senior Vice President (SVP) for Business Technologies, and various other leaders. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Strategy: Collaborate with CTO, CIO, CDO, and SVP for Business Technologies to ensure the lab's initiatives support the company's technology roadmap and business objectives. Lead, inspire, and manage a team of professionals to achieve high-performance standards. Lab Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and fostering a collaborative working environment. Manage resources and timelines effectively to deliver on project milestones and goals. Instill a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the lab. Technology Stack Management: Manage and optimize the technology stack, including Nutanix, AHV Hypervisor, Aruba, Cisco, Palo Alto, Infoblox, F5 and various technologies to meet the unique demands of the Hospitality and Casino industry. Stay abreast of industry trends to ensure the technology stack remains cutting-edge and aligned with organizational needs. Lab Segments: Comparative Lab: Oversee development, system integration, and user acceptance testing/quality assurance processes. Ensure seamless collaboration between development, testing, and operations teams. Innovation Lab: Drive research initiatives and testing of emerging technologies relevant to the Hospitality and Casino industry. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology-driven innovation. Showcase Mock Resort Floor: Coordinate with multiple vendors to create a dynamic showcase simulating a casino resort floor. Facilitate technology demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders. Resort Floor Event Management: Develop and manage processes for scheduling and conducting events on the Showcase Mock Resort Floor, leveraging your background in the Casino and Hospitality industry. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of events, aligning them with promotional strategies and business development goals. Oversee logistics, ensuring visually appealing and technically sound event configurations. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field, &/or equivalent work experience of 5+ years. Proven management experience in a corporate laboratory or R&D environments. Strong understanding of the specified technology stack Background in the Casino and Hospitality industry preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Experience in planning and executing events, especially in a technology showcase or demonstration environment preferred.
