Title: Cloud Network Architect Location: This role is remote but the candidate must be within 100 miles of Nashville, TN, to attend infrequent meetings. Duration: This contract position will last through the end of 2024, with the potential for extension. MOI: Virtual RESPONSIBILITIES: Designed, implemented, and managed cloud architectures, focusing on network and security across AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP clouds. Have a comprehensive understanding of network technologies and concepts, including routing, switching, firewalls, and network monitoring and management. Designed and engineered network solutions utilizing Cisco, Palo Alto, Aviatrix, and complex BGP configurations. Develop, test, and upgrade enterprise network architectures for hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Utilize Infrastructure as code tools, particularly Terraform, to automate and manage infrastructure deployments. REQUIREMENTS:Candidate should have extensive experience in cloud architecture, network design, and infrastructure deployment. Must have experience with Terraform Ability to take initiative and work independently or with a team with minimal supervision. Participate in capacity planning, performance monitoring, and system optimization activities to ensure optimal resource utilization. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud and network infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Work with engineers, architects, and IT support teams to establish guides, procedures, and documentation using Jira and Confluence tools. Experience with scripting languages and network automation is a plus. Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) required.
