Job Description: Please send candidates who meet or exceed the Below experience: We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to join our team and support the Project Management Office (PMO) in ensuring that all projects adhere to established PMO processes and governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for project management, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to drive project success through effective governance. Responsibilities: Governance Oversight: Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining PMO governance processes and standards. Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with established PMO policies and procedures. Conduct regular reviews of project documentation and deliverables to verify adherence to governance requirements. Identify and escalate any deviations from established governance standards to the appropriate stakeholders. Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement within the PMO framework. Participate in the development and implementation of enhancements to existing governance processes. Support the rollout of new tools or methodologies aimed at improving project governance and efficiency. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a point of contact for project teams regarding governance-related inquiries and support. Communicate governance requirements and updates to project stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Facilitate regular meetings or training sessions to ensure understanding and adherence to governance processes across project teams. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of governance-related activities, including meeting minutes, compliance assessments, and action items. Generate regular reports on governance compliance metrics and performance indicators for review by senior management. Assist in preparing presentations or documentation for governance-related initiatives or audits. Risk Management: Assist in identifying and assessing risks related to project governance and compliance. Collaborate with project teams to develop mitigation strategies for identified governance risks. Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts and escalate issues as necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field. 4+ years of experience in project management or related role. Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies. Familiarity with PMO governance frameworks, such as PMI or PRINCE2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in project management tools/software is a plus.
