[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: Active Directory Services-730676-PA-DOT Location: Harrisburg PA Duration: 12 Months Client: PennDOT Need Local Candidate ***This position is onsite for orientation and the first week, but then is 98% hybrid as there are times when onsite in Harrisburg, PA is required for a day or so.*** ***Candidates still need to reside within reasonable traveling distance of Commonwealth Technology Center (1 Technology Park, Harrisburg, PA 17110).*** ***Commonwealth-issued equipment will be picked up during the orientation week. Badging will be done during that week as well.*** ***Work hours are 7 AM - 3:30 PM.*** ***Method of interview is via Microsoft Teams.*** ***Do not resubmit candidates from previously released req # 674891.*** ***This requisition's current PO is funded through 6/30/24, so use that date in the RTR. Contract end date is dependent on the final schedule and projected needs. Historically additional funding should then last a year and occur from 7/1/24-6/30/25.*** Key Responsibilities: Technical Lead for all Active Directory related projects and operational support o Support for teams requiring AD support o LDAP integration, Certificates, Group Policy Admin, Domain Controller deployment and support, custom schema extensions, ADFS, PKI, and DNS, user logon scripts o Responsible for domain upgrade projects o Compose scripts to automate system administrative tasks o Compose scripts for reporting Office 365 related services and technology support o Work with other IT support teams to trouble shoot issues related to authentication o Skype for Business video, meetings, collaboration support o OneDrive for Business support, execute department plans/migration of user data o Exchange Online support and documentation o Documentation and support for O365 SharePoint Online and Delve o Documentation and support of Office Mobile Apps on mobile devices o PST Migration migration support and documentation as the department migrates PST data to online mailboxes (network upload or drive shipping) o Subject matter expert for implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions to support the departments effort to integrate with Azure Application Integration and Data/Analytics Solutions Position will work closely with: Security Team, Core Network Team, SCCM Team, Workstation Support Teams, Mobile Device Management Team, Trainers, and other state agencies as required Qualifications/Requirements Minimum 10 years experience supporting and deploying complex Active Directory Domain Services Must have strong scripting skills (VB Script, PowerShell) Must have hands on experience with the following: AD schema extensions, promoting new domain controllers, designing and building new Active Directory services, troubleshooting replication, firewall configuration requirements for domain/domain client communications, advance group policy administration (WMI filtering, setting precedence, item level targeting), and OU design and delegation Candidate will: Have a strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities Be a strong team player collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources Demonstrate a customer focus; building strong customer relationships Have strong analytical skills strong problem solving skills, can communicate in a clear manner and effectively evaluates information to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develop plans to resolve them Be change oriented actively generates process improvements; supports and drives change, and confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways SKILLS Minimum 10 years' experience supporting and deploying complex Active Directory Domain Services Strong scripting skills (VB Script, PowerShell) Hands on experience with the following: AD schema extensions, promoting new domain controllers, designing and building new Active Directory services troubleshooting replication, firewall configuration requirements for domain/domain client communications advance group policy administration (WMI filtering, setting precedence, item level targeting), and OU design and delegation.
