I work closely with some of the leading Global IT Management Consulting companies for their hiring needs in the United States Role : Data Modeler Location: Norfolk, VA (Hybrid Model) Need to go Elevance office near by you Job Desription: 10+ years of work experience in IT. 8-9 years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, and ETL and data ingestion protocols). 5+ years of hands on experience as a Cloud (Azure, AWS) Data Architect (Azure synapse/Azure SQL Data Warehouse etc.) Experiences in MDM and CDP are must Create conceptual & logical data model to identify key business entities and visualize their relationships Enterprise Data modeling / Design and semantic modelling for with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise cloud analytics platforms Perform data profiling/analysis, data catalog and semantic modelling for consumption use cases Good knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools (Erwin or ER Studio or others) required. Should be familiar with Solution architecture, design, and development of models for small projects. Communicate physical database designs and dba and explains features that may affect the physical data model. Regularly engage and consult stakeholders on solving business problems through data, guiding the conversation rather than following orders. Should be able to understand the requirements and convert them into technical specifications, also able to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
