Job Description: Our Project Management practice group is currently seeking a Scrum Master who has strong experience in Salesforce team management to support one of our global Healthcare devices/Life Science clients, based out of Pittsburgh, PA. This Scrum Master is a solution-oriented leader that can apply the agile methodology experience to lead global, cross-functional teams for a Salesforce Commercial Delivery team for the Data Science Center of Excellence to the successful delivery that improve our operations. The Scrum Master will be adept at building and maintaining relationships; customer obsessed, adaptable, and enjoys bringing structure and discipline to ambiguous spaces to realize measurable value for the business. You will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs and balance short & long-term business needs against constraints. Responsibilities and Duties: Act as a Scrum Master for Salesforce Commercial Delivery Planning of Deliverables and helping teams monitor performance Establish team level cadence and drive team level ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning, team retrospectives, backlog refinement, etc.) Facilitate and participate in technical discussions to drive issues to conclusion Communicate findings effectively at multiple levels within the organization Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to encourage adoption of good Agile practices Encourage and facilitate cross-team coordination and collaboration Find and work to remove development and project roadblocks. Advance impediments appropriately as needed. Facilitate management of the Scrum team's dependencies between the team and third parties, release managers, or other Scrum teams Utilize Jira to manage your project Communicate product risks, progress, launches and retrospective across all stakeholder teams consistently and transparently. Strive constantly to improve and establish a high bar in product/project execution using objective metrics. Be detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and closing gaps in the product development lifecycle. Present product updates to senior-level stakeholders, welcoming feedback and implementing/driving changes quickly. Lead team to resolve all project issues and impediments on a timely manner, effectively communicate, manage expectations and resolve conflicts working closely with team and leadership. Align to business and IT priorities by effectively leveraging Agile/ SCRUM SAFe methodologies, while coaching and mentoring team members. Actively manage backlog along with Product Owner and Team to business priorities, identify risks and impediments, prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously and proactively, follow-through on tasks to successful completion with minimal guidance, often with deadline pressures. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Mathematics, Human Centered Design or related fields 5+ years of Experience leading Agile / Scrum adoption at the team level Manufacturing Life Science industry experience Experience with Agile management tools such as Atlassian Jira Agile/Scrum Industry Certification Not expected to be active developer, but comprehension vital for driving technical discussions. Strong data analysis skills, including SQL knowledge. Proficiency in Jira and Confluence. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability. Preferred Experience and Skills: Experience in running Scrum teams that are Salesforce or similar packaged SW focused. Experience with life sciences or medical instrumentation. Experience with various cloud technologies Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, facilitating the ceremonies like backlog grooming, epic /User story, daily standups, estimation, and velocity, resolving impediments, sprint retrospection, coaching team members and usage of JIRA, Confluence and metrics reporting. Strong communicator with effective presentation skills delivering formal presentations & facilitate Demo to various levels of management articulating project/Sprint status, risk mitigations, benefits & financial realizations. Familiarity with the DevOps implementation focusing on the Continuous Integration and deployment leveraging automation building deployment pipelines with focus on quality and speed to market. Self-motivated and independent critical thinker who can visualize and guide team during conflicting situations to stay focused on business goals & priorities Effective conflict & impediments management in a fast-paced environment, take higher responsibilities working with cross functional team who are working on multiple priorities Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders and team members with variety of personal styles to focus on right priorities under pressure and tight deadlines.
